Life
Life is full, isn't it? I just finished watching Rachael Ray cook and create a wonderful, delicious-looking, easy-to-make meal in just under 30 minutes (and she cleaned up as she was cooking). What an amazing woman! Perky and sweet, with her husky voice and down-to-earth, no-nonsense attitude about cooking she can convince someone, even me, that you really can do cooking after a long day, effortlessly (or so she persuades us so). But, who buys all of those ingredients? No matter, she inspires a hard-to-get-excited-about-cooking person to think, I could do that at least ONCE a week, if I made a sincere effort. She just makes it look like so much fun. Each time I watch her show, I think I must be missing something! Any minute she is going to do something BESIDES wash veges, chop veges or saute' something with her "OO" olive oil!!! And then it happens! The show ends and all we've got is more food, food that "pops" and is placed on a display platter and then a smaller plate while we all get to watch Rachael "sample" her goodies. But, hold the phone, there are two things missing in her ingredient list - a plate for me and the aroma that must surely follow all that sauteed onion, garlic and oregano! Hold the phone, Rachael, I'm comin'
